These pictures from the set of the new ‘Where the wild things are’ film which is being shot by Spike Jonze really got me excited. I’ve always loved the illustrative style of Maurice Sendak and no doubt Mr Jonze will do a great job of bringing his books to life.

Amazing photography that flips the world upside down to reveal a place inhabited by shadows. Not sure if it’s visual trickery or just a happy accident, but I love it regardless. There’s a similar shot of Camels here.

This is one crazy bit in interior decoration. Not only is this beautiful creation very practical as a light, but apparently at night it glows in such a way that it ‘reflects it’s luminous surroundings’.
