So thin it fits inside an envelope. You can expect all the usual hype about this in the coming months, as people go mental for another bit of design candy from Apple.

Bears, is a series of portraits of teddy bears that have been turned inside out and restuffed. Despite being freaky looking, they are still endearing and actually more interesting. Just don’t try this at home with your pets.

After endless hours of Nintendo ‘training’, this hard work and dedication can be recognised with this prestigious medal. If you are worthy of such an accolade, go ahead and bestow that honour on yourself by getting one.

I love quirky watches and these new Nooka watches definitely caught my eye despite their camouflage design, which is an interesting choice because these are hardly disguised and can be spotted a mile away! Then again, maybe that’s the point.
Nooka Watches
A slick advert for the new Nike Air Force 1’s shot through Radical Media by Christopher Riggert. No creative idea, just a beautiful animation set to a cool soundtrack. Watch it for yourself at the excellent Fubiz.net, a must for a daily dose of inspiration.

Camille Rousseau’s work is a delight to view. Not only is she a very talented illustrator, but she also turns her hand to animation, producing great short films. You can check out her portfolio and some of her reel here.

The Vauni Globe is the world’s first ethanol fireplace made from a special cast concrete, that gives it ‘fascinating properties’. Personally I like it because it looks like a giant Pac Man. How cool would it be if the mouth closed to extinguish the flames?
Globe Fireplace
A wonderfully inventive design for a skateboard from Spanish design collective SpY. It’s not the first time I’ve seen a skater with a plaster, but it is the first time anyone attempt to pull some tricks on one.

Furoshikii is an ancient Japanese cloth traditionally used for wrapping stuff in a stylish way. The current Japanese Minister for the Envirionment is encouraging people to use it for disposing of rubbish. Much cooler than a black bin bag.

A selection of the best animated films involving type around from the consistently inspirational Designer Daily. I loved them all, but my favourite has to be the Pulp Fiction clip, outstanding.

Unlike Wikipedia, this is the content encyclopedia which anyone can edit. And because of this, it’s much the better for it as it’s full of brilliantly inventive and entertaining lies and made up stories.

A sublime typeface from the excellent Veer.com. The appropriately named ‘Whomp’ is wonderfully chunky and graceful, with lovely sweeping letterforms. Inspired by American master sign-maker Alf Becker, it’s a must for any collection.

I great site that I ‘Found’ recently. It’s hard to describe, but addictive viewing. Random images pop up, if you like them then it shows you more based on your tastes. Before you know it, it’s dark outside and time to go home.
FFFFound.com
I don’t know who it’s by and why, but I love it for that. Perhaps the funniest thing I’ve seen in my life, but it’s definitely the darkest. It’s one for you ‘dog lovers’ out there.

Fantastic moody and atmospheric photography from Sean Marc Lee of believe it or not...LA. It looks like something from Bladerunner, not the Sunny La La land it’s normally portrayed as.
